Live Blogging Day 1 of the #GASummit

The Vertical Nerve team is present and ready for a big week in Mountain View, CA for the Google Analytics Partner Summit! It's hard to believe this is our 5th year attending. We'll be live-blogging some exciting announcements from Monday starting at  11am  CST. 

Update 11:15am: Goal conversion data coming to real-time reports.

Update 11:25am: Universal Analytics. Single biggest update to GA since launch. 

Update 1:15pm: Attribution Modeling reports, previously a GA Premium only feature, will be available to all users soon! We will have a full post published later today detailing attribution modeling in Google Analytics. New features include custom look-back windows up to 90 days.

Update 1:25pm: Another whopper! The ability to upload cost data for use in the MCF reports. Adwords will come automatically, but also uploading costs for other channels like Bing, Affiliates, Display, Email, etc.

Update 1:45pm: New campaign management tool for easier campaign tagging. Say good-bye to all those ugly UTM variables!

Update 2:20pm: Multi-session analysis. Connect visits from the same visitor across days, devices, channels, etc. Viz flow reports to include flows across sessions!

Update 2:45pm: Much of these updates made possible by Universal Analytics (announcement earlier). This includes the ability to define custom dimensions and metrics (like Custom Variables on steroids). GA Standard users to have 20 custom dimensions (instead of 5 CVs). Premium customers will have 200.

Update 2:50pm. We need a break!!! Too many exciting announcements about Google Analytics... head about to explode!
